Capturing the spirit of place

The key to capturing the essence of a place is an understanding of context. Great British Estates are all about the context of the landscape to the building and capturing Delamore Estate was all about understanding the lie of the land and how to capture the relationship between the house and gardens.

Whilst the primary objective of the aerial filming was to create a short film about the estate, Survey Drone were also asked to capture aerial views of the intricate roof structure in order to determine the possible locations of water ingress and to check the structure for loose tiles or damage. The resulting 3D model was used to explore the structure and can be found here under Roof Inspection.
